About Mo
The MoCollection is a Brooklyn-based design studio offering custom and standard furniture and home goods. Founded by Max Orenstein in 2020, the studio emphasizes quality materials, exceptional craftsmanship, and beautifully simple designs.
With no formal schooling, Max taught himself how to work with wood and metal as well as 3D model. He found his passion in making - spending every free hour learning about tools, materials, and design.
Max currently works at Stowed Home as Head of Product Development. Before that, he worked at West Elm as a Furniture Engineer, and as a Product Developer at Herman Miller and Design Within Reach.
